The WebSummit, the world's number one tech conference, is back in 2022 and not just anywhere... In Lisbon, the city of 7 hills!

Created in 2009 in Dublin by Paddy Cosgrave, the WebSummit has been held every year for the last 13 years.

The first 5 sessions were held in Dublin, Ireland, but in 2015 Paddy announced that the 6th session would be held in Lisbon starting in 2016.

Two years later in 2018, the Portuguese government announced a 10-year contract extension with the Web Summit.
